East Lincoln Middle School will be having cheer tryouts on April 29th, April 30th, and May 1st. In order to participate in tryouts, each prospective cheerleader must have a current physical on file with ELMS and a signed concussion form. The papers in the cheer tryout packet must be filled out fully and truthfully. All of these forms will be due by the 1st day of tryouts or they will not be able to participate. (NO exceptions)
Below is a brief overview of tryouts:
· Tuesday, April 29th, 2025 – 3:30 – 5:30 pm - Review motions and jumps. Split up into groups to learn cheer and chant. Learn dance.
· Wednesday, April 30th, 2025 – 3:30 – 5:30 pm - Review cheer, chant, jumps and dance.
· Thursday, May 1st, 2025 – 3:15 – finished - TRYOUT - We will assign a time for each Group of 3-4 to perform the cheer, chant and dance for judges.
The team will be chosen at the end of tryouts and posted on the ELMS Cheerleading Page on Friday, May 2nd after school. All decisions will be final. A Parent Meeting & Uniform fittings will be on May 12th after school.
