It's National Apprenticeship Week! We have two students currently working at BLUM with the Apprenticeship 2000 program.
An apprenticeship is a training program that combines classroom instruction with on-the-job training to prepare individuals for a trade or profession.

The WFAC Volleyball post season awards have been announced and we had two very deserving young ladies named to the all conference team, congrats ladies, GO MUSTANGS
The WFAC post season golf awards have been announced and our WFAC champs were well represented, congratulations ladies and special congratulations to our very own Coach Hancock as he was named the Coach of the year, GO MUSTANGS
Our G tennis season came to a close in the 4th rd to a very good LN Charter team but the girls had a great year capturing the WFAC Championship. Congratulations to our WFAC post season award winners and a special congratulations to our very own Karsyn Sink for being named player of the year and Coach Mackel for being named Coach of the year, GO MUSTANGS
Boys soccer season came to a close in the 4th rd against a very good Asheboro team but what a great year, 20+ wins and a WFAC championship, all state has not been announced but here are the young men that made all conference and all region. Special congratulations to our very own Zachary Hoyt as he was named the WFAC offensive player of the year and Coach Arabie was named the WFAC Coach of the year, congrats boys and well deserved, GO MUSTANGS
Congratulations to the ELHS Girls and Boys Swim Team who competed in a conferece swim meet in Hickory on Tuesday night (11/19). Their season is off to a great start with several swimmers already qualifying for the regional championship and others setting their own PR (personal record) times. Their next swim meet is December 3. Go Mustangs!!!
Our fall sports season has come to a close, big thank you to all of our volunteers, announcers, boosters, admin and most importantly our fans. We have had a great start to the 24/25 athletic year and look forward to seeing everyone at our basketball, wrestling matches and swim meets this winter. Great job coaches and student athletes, GO MUSTANGS!!
